This week we will continue studying good communication skills and upholding resident's rights, and will read sections in Textbook Modules 2 & 3. Study Spelling and vocabulary words on Quizlet. I separated the spelling and vocabulary into different lessons, so it is more clear.

There are several videos are recommended to watch: Caring for Residents with Dignity & Respect, Resident's Rights, Nonverbal Communication and Verbal & Nonverbal Communication. They are listed under Nursing Skills Video section on this website.
Manuel will continue practicing "Turning" and then test students. Make sure you view the videos and practice at home. Also remember to use small talk and practice the key phrases while turning the client! Refer to handout given to you on Thursday night.
